McKinsey Steel has been in business in South Florida since 1983. The company began with 1 saw and 4 employees catering to the tool steel trade. 1987 saw a change in the market and McKinsey Steel changed with it. Cutbacks in the aerospace industry caused many of the tool and die shops to move or close. Mckinsey Steel then aggressively went into the hot-rolled and structural steel markets. We expanded our inventory and added fabrication equipment. We have ironworkers for shearing, punching, and bending materials up to 1 thickness. We then hired certified welders and can now offer complete assemblies from customer sketches or prints.
Mckinsey Steel has become a "Full Line Metal Service
Center". We stock all types of metals in all sizes and
shapes. We can also provide you with special order materials from any of our
700 domestic and off shore vendors.
